The Equipment Leasing Association of Nigeria was established in 1983, primarily to promote the business of leasing. Over the years, the Association has been engaged in various activities in furtherance of its objectives. Today, ELAN is regarded as the sole authority on leasing in Nigeria and has equally earned considerable recognition from the global leasing industry, through its quantitative lease training and advisory programmes.

 

ELAN’s lease awareness campaigns, research and publications as well as consultancy and advisory services particularly in the areas of policy compliance, market intelligence, lease accounting, taxation and general operations, are very popular in Nigeria. These services are provided for members of the Association and other reputable organisations.

 

Today, ELAN is the chief promoter of leasing in the country with its functional lease education and training scheme, awareness programmes and liaison with relevant government authorities and other development partners.
